SBI PO Notification 2023 Out – Exam Dates, Application process, Eligibility Criteria

The State Bank of India (SBI) has unveiled the 2023 SBI PO preliminary examination admission card. The SBI PO preliminary examination is scheduled for the 1st, 4th, and 6th of November in the year 2023. To download the SBI PO preliminary examination admission card, applicants are required to input their enrollment or identification numbers, and date of birth or confidential passcodes.

The main examination is slated for December 2023 or January 2024 for those who successfully clear the preliminary examination. The psychometric test is scheduled for January or February 2024. Furthermore, the group exercises and interviews are also slated for January or February 2024. Notably, there is a total of 2000 vacancies that have been declared for the SBI PO examination.

The SBI PO selection procedure encompasses a sequence of evaluation stages, commencing with the preliminary examination, followed by the main examination, a psychometric test, group exercises, and interview.

The preliminary examination for the SBI PO assesses proficiency in three core areas: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Notably, the exam carries a weightage of 100 marks.

In contrast, the main examination for SBI PO incorporates both objective and descriptive type questions, with a total valuation of 250 marks. Candidates who successfully navigate the main exam are subsequently summoned for the Group Exercises and Interview, which collectively account for 50 marks.

Crucially, it is essential to underscore that the marks obtained in the preliminary examination do not contribute to the ultimate merit list.

  • Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature
  • Fill the detailed application form
  • Upload handwritten declaration and left thumb impression
